Presents five romantic suspense novellas based on fairy tales, including J.D. Robb's "Taken in Death," a twist on the Hansel and Gretel story in which Eve Dallas searches for a pair of missing twins.
I only read J.D. Robb's tale in this collection because I love her Eve Dallas series. Very smart intertextual parallels to Hazel and Gretel. Great short murder mystery!
The three star rating was for the J D Robb story. The other stories, I just couldn't get interested enough to finish them. I do like all the authors in this book, just not all the stories.

I don't normally read a book of novellas but with JD Robb mentioned I had to give it a try. I thoroughly enjoyed these modern versions of classic Fairy Tales and highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates Fairy Tales and well written stories.

I enjoyed these twists on the traditional fairy tales. My favorite was the one based on Cinderella. Good book!

The book was dirty - didn't want to touch it
