Short but strong, well-written book by the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. Harrowing description of a teenage boy collected by the Germans for internment in a World War Two concentration camp. Brief, stark testimony of the inhumane treatment in the camps. Author survived but with severe post-trauma stress and could not write about his experience for years.
