GIMME A W! GIMME A T! GIMME A F! WHAT DO YOU GOT? or JOSH WHEDON STRIKES A BLOW FOR FEMALE LEAD FILM AND NEVER STRAYS FROM ARCHETYPES SET BY HIS OPPRESSIVE MALE OVERLORDS... Whedon's flagship & labour of love; albeit, in a sanitised rendition, with a great supporting cast that companion's some worthy work from Swanson in the lead. Balanced yet some dragging in the script, worth a watch if nothing else, for Reubens' scenes. Compared to the series, which "allowed" Whedon to develop the character as he had always envisioned, it does have it's limitations... it is only ninety plus minutes. Some things are better in small doses, and this is the arguement for Whedon being one of those things.
