She decides to head west to the sea, seeking something fierce and glorious. On her journey, she encounters a dangerous bobcat and continues with a sense of fearless independence. However, along the way, she meets Major, an old donkey, a loyal dog, and a troublesome child, who show her that relying on others might be even scarier than facing danger alone. Sally learns that having connections and trusting others can be more daunting than she expected.
